With a target of training over 1,000 candidates annually, the NSDC International Academy is committed to addressing the demands of both local and international job markets. As part of its mission to enhance employability, the academy will provide placement assistance and establish partnerships with industry leaders to facilitate valuable interview opportunities for its graduates.

The NSDC International Academy in Greater Noida stands as a flagship initiative of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), dedicated to transforming India’s workforce by providing training and certifications recognised globally. This premier skill development institution offers specialised courses in various fields, including foreign languages, healthcare, employability skills, and aviation, ensuring that Indian youth are well-prepared for international career opportunities. The facility features modern classrooms equipped with interactive technology and advanced labs focused on soft skills and language learning with resources that will enable hands-on training and practical application of the learnings. The academy also includes dedicated counselling rooms to provide career guidance and psychological support, fostering holistic development among students. With residential facilities accommodating up to 500 candidates, the NSDC International Academy offers an immersive learning environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.

Skill Verification Program (SVP) aims to verify that Indian professional workers possess the required qualifications and skills to perform their professions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

• Leverage professional examinations to elevate workforce skills and drive excellence by enhancing the quality of labor market services.
• Forge stronger partnerships with the private sector to foster mutual growth while safeguarding the labor market by limiting the entry of unskilled workers.

• The MOU between National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) & Takamol for Business Services (TAKAMOL) was signed in 2019.
• The pilot phase benchmarking 5 occupations commenced in 2023, where candidates undergo a competency-based exam (theoretical and practical) in their respective fields of specialisation at the accredited SVP testing centres in India.
• The successful completion of the pilot phase led to the formal rollout of the project, marked by the signing of the agreement on 15^th May 2023.
• 41 testing centers have been successfully accredited under the program.
• 233 assessors are actively part of SVP across the centers.
• Over 82,000 candidates have been successfully registered under the program, and over 82,000 have been successfully assessed.

Overseas Skill Centres of Excellence to provide scalable, culturally aligned, and internationally benchmarked skill development ecosystem are proposed to be setup in Gulf Cooperation Council(GCC) countries. Such centres under a new Joint Venture (JV) will implement and integrate future skills initiatives aligned with economic modernization vision of the host countries.

To provide timely and critical and information to migrant workers holistic information kit for: pre-employment, pre-departure and post arrival of workers have been made for 30 high priority countries.

NSDC International provides institutional credit to individuals for skill development courses conducted by it. Currently, Japanese and German language skill training program course fees are covered under the Skill Loan Scheme.

Skill India International Centres take forward the government's vision to establish India as the skill capital of the world. SIICs aim at reducing the cost and time for international mobility of Indian youth and developing a trusted network for information, training, testing and recruitment at one place. The SIICs will help create a 'Trusted workforce supply chain' by ensuring skilled mobility from India in a fair and transparent manner. Through the SIICs skilling and ethical migration for recruitment from India can be ensured.

• Services offered at SIICs to a candidate are- counselling (including awareness regarding safe, legal and ethical emigration), domain skills assessment, domain skill training, soft skills, culture immersion and pre departure orientation training, language training, administrative facilitation as well as post placement support.
• At present 02 SIIC’s are operational in India- SIIC Varanasi at ITI Karaundi and SDI Bhubaneswar. Further 05 SIIC’s are in the process of being roll
