Vivek Goswami
Vivek Goswami is a seasoned legal professional with over 27 years of experience in legal affairs, litigation, compliance, and risk management across India's financial services and skill development sectors. As Head – Legal & Risk at the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), he leads the organisation's legal and compliance functions, overseeing litigation, contract management, regulatory compliance, and legal coordination with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. Prior to joining NSDC in March 2022, he held leadership positions at organisations including Religare Finvest Ltd., Volkswagen Finance Private Ltd., Tata Motors Finance Ltd., Citicorp Finance India Ltd., Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Escorts Finance Limited, where he developed extensive expertise in contract drafting and negotiation, arbitration, insolvency proceedings, SARFAESI enforcement, debt recovery, and representation before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums, including Courts, Tribunals, NCLT, DRT, and DRAT. His expertise spans legal advisory, MoU and agreement vetting, regulatory engagement with government authorities, and the development of robust legal SOPs and risk mitigation frameworks that strengthen governance and support large-scale corporate and public sector operations.

Emerging Talent from Western States Showcases Excellence at IndiaSkills West Regional Competition 2025–26
The IndiaSkills Regional Competition 2025-26 for the western states concluded at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, marking a successful celebration of talent, technical excellence, and regional pride. Organised under the IndiaSkills initiative of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and supported by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), knowledge partner and implementation partner for IndiaSkills Competition 2025–26, the competition brought together more than 300+ skilled youth from five western states, including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Goa, competing across 63 skill categories aligned with national and global industry standards.
